Allianz Global Assistance announces nomination of Christophe Neves as Director of Group’s Actuarial activity and Policy Subscriptions

« Christophe brings to Allianz Global Assistance a dual, highly-sophisticated expertise in actuarial activities and policy subscriptions, both acquired in an international environment. He has a central position within the Group.

Guardian of the company’s « technical profitability », Christophe is responsible for managing insurance risks under Solvency 2 with the aim to develop synergies between the different business entities so as to innovate in a controlled fashion, » declares Rémi Grenier, CEO and President of Allianz Global Assistance.

For me this represents an extremely stimulating challenge that I am ready to meet head on and hand-in-hand with my colleagues in the different regions, » Christophe Neves adds.  

Christophe Neves began his career in 1995 with the AXA Group, where he held a number of positions, including Director of Services for large accounts within the Individual Insurance department of AXA’s Brokerage division. In 2001 he joined Chartis/AIG Europe, where he was Deputy Manager of the profit center for « loyalty programs and financial risks » for Continental Europe. In 2003 he became Financial Lines Loyalty Programs Manager, and a Member of the Board of Directors France for AIG Europe France. From 2005 to 2011 he was Vice President – Actuarial Regional Manager, and a Member of the Board of Directors Continental Europe for Chartis Europe, and he finished as Senior Vice President, Head of Capital Modelling. Christophe Neves joined Allianz Global Assistance on January 1st 2013. 

He received degrees from the Ecole Polytechnique and the National School of Statistics and Economic Administration (ENSAE), and is a certified actuary from the Actuary Institute. In 2011 he obtained the title of Administrator of Certified Companies (IFA/Sciences Po Paris).
